 The History of Taiwan :

 Taiwan was the part of people's republic of china till 1945 . In 1939 , During world war 2 , expansion of  germany by Hitler threatened the world most powerful countries like china , USA , UK , taiwan etc. After the second world war in 1945 , huge civil war were erupted in china between the communists and nationalist party. The communists party were lead by Mao Zedong and nationalist party were headed by jang ki shek . After the defeat by communists , leaders of nationalist party were fled to get undercover to the nearest island called Taiwan . Still the official name of taiwan is Republic of china ( ROC )  , while the mainland china named itself as ' People's republic of china ( PRC ). Both the countries claims the mainland china as the part of their own countries .

The Conflict begins :

Since 1945 civil war between China and Taiwan , there is no peace agreement between both the countries so technically they are fighting since 1945 , But the major conflict erupted when the Speaker of house of representatives of USA ‘ Nancy Pelosi ’ declares her official visit to taiwan for the diplomatic purposes on 2-3 August 2022 . As till today USA , india and other big countries does not recognise taiwan as a country and recognises the China's ‘ One china policy ’ , which states that China and taiwan is a single country and taiwan is a part of china . Official visit of representatives haywires the china claiming that it is the attack on sovereignity and integrity of china by USA . Beside this  , Nancy Pelosi visited the taiwan and meet President of taiwan ‘ Tsai-ing wen ’ and give assurance about the help in difficult situation with china.

Reasons for the USA's interest :

1 . South china sea dispute :

  South china sea is the most important route for the trade for the entire world . About 30% of world trade worth $3.37 trillion dollars shipping is done by this route  every year . China try to cantrol this route from the small countries like Phillipines , taiwan , Vietnam , Brunei and malysia .if china get this route , then it will be harmful for the World big countries like USA , UK , even india also .

2. Economical importance :

According to experts , 11 billion barrel of crude oil and 190 trillion cubic feet of natural gas resources could be found under this South china sea .  According to some satelite images , China have built artificial islands to cantrol this area of resources. If China's influence across this area increased , it increases world's tension over this resources.

3.Repeatation and safety :

   If USA does not defend taiwan and takes similar stand like ukrain situation , then it's pact with small countries like japan and other countries will be ofended and USA will lose faith over world geopolitical relations.

4. Semiconductor shortage :

World is dengerously depend on taiwan for semiconductor being chip shortage in USA companies like intel ,invidia etc . Near about 52-63% of world semiconductor is produced in only taiwan. USA being silicon valley of world,   & also it is a hub of big software companies like Google , apple , microsoft etc which requires a lot of semiconductor like silicon and semiconductor chips for making their products like smartphone , tablet , computer , laptop processor , machines etc . Near about 54% of total taiwan semiconductor is produced by single company of taiwan called ‘ TSMC’ Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company . If china gets its cantrol over taiwan then the cantrol of entire software industry will be under single hand . China may misuse this like solar panels system produced in china.

USA shows its interest in this conflict not because human being are in trouble but because its rival superpower may rise in power .

Consequences over taiwan  : 

1. In prohibition againts the USA's visit to taiwan , china stopped importing fruits and fish from taiwan citing pesticides.

2. China stopped exporting sand which is required for making silicon chips.

3. After the visit of USA's representative to taiwan , china started its live drill and exercise by 21 fighter jets around the taiwan sea spaces and Taiwan's air space one by one . China trying to put pressure on taiwan by this drills . As taiwan is 130 km far from the China's fujan city . China started mobilising its military and aircraft near fujan area of china .

4. According to some reports , there found a  continuous digital cyber attack on Taiwan's cyberspace by Chinese hackers  .

Consequences over India :

1. semiconductor shortage will hit the prices and there will be the rise in prise of electronic products which requires semiconductor . This can affect our economy by inflation in prices of products.

2. If the USA - China- taiwan war will begins , then USA will pressurises india to take part in war against china . This will be more dengerous for us . As always war will not be beneficial for both the sides .

Is this world war 3 ?

1. China have 10 times more ground force , 8 times more naval destroyer , 30 Times more Submarine than taiwan .

2. According to China's Anti sessasion law , if taiwan annouced its independence then china have rights to invade taiwan for its sovereignity and integrity . So china may attack taiwan and take cantrol over taiwan by hook or crook.

3.  According to USA- Taiwan mutual defense treaty 1979 , USA legislation will support taiwan if it is under attacked and provide weapons to taiwan .

4 . If china invades taiwan ,  it have only one way better , by coastal region because USA will deploy its missile system to protect air space of taiwan . Taiwans coastal region is not better for china to invades , as it is full of small island packed with ammunition to protect from China's attack . 

5 . USA will definitely help taiwan due to its economical reasons and also for taiwan being its 9th largest trade partner. Remember, Ukrain is 67th trade partner of USA .

6. According to some war experts , china will not attack on Taiwan as , in  this year there is China's presidential election and xi jinping will be the candidate of its third terms as president . If China lose war then its position for the president will be lost .

7 . So , by knowing all facts , it's only the ' Time' Will tells us about the war . If war begins , then remember this will be the war between two superpower having nuclear weapons .This will be desastrous for the whole world .

   ‘‘ Once something , if it starts , then it will be really hard to reverse it  & to put the cat into the bag ’’ !.
